The Refinishing Crew’s BODYSHOP BUZZ event

The Refinishing Crew’s BODYSHOP BUZZ event

The entire UK collision repair sector and supply chain are invited for a free evening of networking at the BODYSHOP BUZZ drinks reception, hosted The Refinishing Crew and in association with Bodyshop Magazine, taking place during happy hour on the first evening of the 2024 UK Garage and Bodyshop Event at the NEC on 5 June.

BODYSHOP BUZZ promises to be the premier networking event for bodyshop owners, managers, technicians, support staff, and all members of the repair sector supply chain during the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event. The show offers attendees the opportunity to connect with colleagues, suppliers, and customers in a relaxed and exciting setting.

The BODYSHOP BUZZ drinks reception is free to attend and will run from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Bodyshop Magazine Lounge (G18) and the adjacent Bodyshop Training Hub (H18) in the centre of the main area dedicated to the body repair and refinish sector.

Sunny Yip, founder of The Refinishing Crew, comments: “We are delighted to be supporting this networking event with Bodyshop magazine at UK Garage and Bodyshop Event. Networking events like this are beneficial to everybody in our industry, so I’ll be there as will many Refinishing Crew members as possible – and we hope everyone else joins us too!”

UK Garage and Bodyshop Event is returning for its second edition at the NEC in Birmingham on 5 and 6 June 2024. This one-of-a-kind show – with parking and breakfast provided – promises to provide an unparalleled opportunity this year for bodyshop professionals to access dynamic training, cutting-edge technologies and essential tools for their trade.

The trade show will bring together 180 leading suppliers, including PPG, Sherwin Williams, SATA, LKQ, Bosch, Walcom, Tereson, Indasa, Masterflo-UK, Thatcham, Sagola, Snap-On and more, as well as over 5,000 bodyshop professionals, providing a platform for interactive exhibitions, live demonstrations, workshops, and panel discussions led by industry experts.

Visitors will be able to access practical skills training from 80+ experts. Renowned industry experts will lead technical seminars across four dedicated training hubs, covering topics such as collision repair, EV repair, paint refinishing and more.

UK Garage and Bodyshop Event is also calling for any budding bodyshop rock stars who are in a band to be the official entertainment at the event. Musicians can do so by sending a demo video to alex.jones@uk.messefrankfurt.com to enter the selection process.

Alex Jones, Marketing Director at Messe Frankfurt, organisers of UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, comments: “We’re delighted to be supporting the BODYSHOP BUZZ networking event at UKGBE this year. The best of the best from the crash repair sector will be at the show and we want to encourage people to come together, exchange ideas, and forge valuable connections. In this ever-evolving industry, staying connected and informed is key to success!”

Places will be limited for BODYSHOP BUZZ and, while it is free to attend, registration is important to guarantee a spot at this sought-after event. You can register for the drinks reception at https://www.bodyshopmag.com/bodyshop-buzz-2024-registration/
