Leading electronics manufacturing company, UK Circuits, has successfully conducted refreshed IPC training for their team to ensure their products deliver consistency, reliability and quality.

The Institute of Printed Circuits created the IPC standard in 2002 to provide a globally recognised industry standard for electronics manufacturing and PCB design.

With companies required to undergo rigorous training and certification, the IPC standard, guarantees quality compliance while helping drive the global electronics industry towards better practices.

As a contract electronics manufacturer, UK Circuits has once again taken the steps needed to ensure their team are equipped with the latest knowledge and techniques to produce IPC-approved electronics.

“In the rapidly evolving world of electronics, we find that investing in our team’s skills and knowledge is critical to our success. By regularly training our workforce on the latest IPC standards, we can help keep UK Circuits at the forefront of technical expertise and quality control” says Marc Ellis, Managing Director of UK Circuits.

IPC training and certification programs, are delivered in a classroom setting by IPC certified trainers.

Within the IPC standards, Class 3 is the highest standard for electronic assemblies and is used for products that deliver high performance in harsh conditions. Meeting IPC Class 3 standards has become a requirement for many demanding sectors.

“Given our involvement in a range of demanding sectors, we invest in external training and assessment to help us achieve -IPC J-STD-001; IPC-77117721; IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-610H. Having our operations running up to the highest IPC standards possible is especially important as a manufacturer for industries such as industrial, automotive and rail” adds Marc.

UK Circuits is a leading contract electronics manufacturer based in Manchester with an ultra-modern 20,000 sq ft facility which employs over 60 skilled staff.

With over 25 years of experience, UK Circuits specialises in the manufacture of high-quality electronic assemblies for over 100 clients across the UK.

As a manufacturer operating across integral sectors, UK Circuits aims to continue pushing their operations to meet and exceed any standards for quality and reliability.

“At UK Circuits, we’re always looking for ways to ensure our new and existing customers receive the best manufactured electronics possible. That’s why IPC standards play such a key role for us as a company and for the overall progression of our industry” concludes Marc.
