Jaltek Invests in Conformal Coating Technology

Jaltek new equipment from Nordson Asymtek, Asys and Exelsius.

Jaltek is pleased to announce a significant investment in its conformal coating capability with the  addition of a new suite of advanced equipment from Nordson Asymtek, Asys and Exelsius. This  marks an important step in strengthening their manufacturing infrastructure and ensuring they con tinue to meet the evolving needs of their customers across high-reliability sectors.

At the centre of the upgrade is the Nordson Asymtek SL940 Conformal Coating System, fully  configured with three specialised valves:

SC400 Prime Valve for precise, detailed coating work

SC280 Film Coater for broad, uniform coverage

DV-05 Syringe Valve for gelling applications

The machine also features a dual recirculating coating system, allowing two coating materials to be  loaded and primed simultaneously. This setup enables faster, cleaner changeovers and reduces  downtime — a practical enhancement that directly benefits customers requiring flexible, responsive  production.

To support a fully optimised coating line, Jaltek has also invested in:

Asys BLO 01 Loading Station

Asys BCO 03 Triple-Drive Conveyor for post-coat inspection

Exelsius TC 2400 Thermal Cure Oven for controlled, reliable curing

Asys BUL 01 Unloading Station

Together, these additions create a streamlined coating process with improved throughput, traceab ility, and quality control.

While this investment strengthens the business’s technical capability, it also reflects something  broader: Jaltek’s continued, steady growth. As customer programmes expand and new opportunit ies emerge across aerospace, defence, medical and industrial electronics, the business remains  focused on developing the right infrastructure to support long-term partnerships.

Commenting on the investment, Jaltek’s Managing Director, Steve Pittom said:

“This upgrade allows us to increase both the capacity and versatility of our conformal coating pro cess. It gives our customers greater confidence in turnaround times, consistency, and the ability to  handle a wider range of coating materials. It’s an important step forward as we continue to support  increasingly complex and high-reliability electronics.”

The new coating line is now in place and will be fully operational in early 2026.

This investment represents Jaltek’s ongoing commitment to strengthening in-house capability, en hancing manufacturing resilience, and supporting customers as their product and compliance re quirements evolve.
