IMI’s Industrial Automation sector announced that Mario Wrase has been appointed to the position of President, Industrial Automation, EMEA.

With almost three decades of industry experience, including positions at General Motors and Siemens, Mario joins IMI’s Industrial Automation team from Schnieder Electric, where he served as Managing Director of Schnieder Electric Automation, GmbH.

Mario brings a wealth of expertise in the industrial automation industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. He is passionate about building high-performing global teams that deliver real value to clients.

Mario Wrase commented: “I am delighted to be joining IMI with the ambition to lead the company’s Industrial Automation proposition across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I hope to further build on the depth of experience, technical expertise, innovating strategies and great product solutions already in place, as we look to support the current and future needs of all our customers across the EMEA region.”
