The business is a leader worldwide for manufacturing and supplying high quality waste containerisation products. These products are manufactured for local authorities and developers. Simon Witty has joined Plastic Omnium Urban Systems Ltd as the Sales Manager for Southern UK. The company has also appointed Vicky Haigh as a Sales manager for the North of the UK. These two new members will mainly focus on engaging with the local authorities and private sector waste collection companies in their area. The aim of this engagement is to establish new relationships that could lead to more business. The focus on engagement could also see the renewal of existing relationship and will improve the relationship with existing clients which could also lead to a boost in the businesses sales. Simon Witty can bring a wider range of knowledge and experience from within the waste management industry. Witty has previously worked as a Sales Manager in a previous role with Mattiussi Environment Limited. In this role, Witty was in control of running the UK entity of Mattiussi Ecologia, which is and Italian manufacturer of waste containers. Vicky Haigh has previously worked with MGB Straight and is has experience with creating both strong and long lasting business relationships. The new appointments are to reflect the speed of development within the UK section of the business. By expanding the sales team and appointing the two experienced sales people the company hope that the expansion of the company can continue. Plastic Omnuim Urban Systems Ltd is the UK part of Plastic Omnium Environment. The company was incorporated in the UK in 1997. The business started off in Halesfield, Telford but has since relocated to Oldbury, West Midlands in 2007.
