ADS Laser Cutting is proud to announce their collaboration with IOTA Garden and their clients Emilie Bausager and Amelia Bouquet on a container garden design for the Chelsea Flower Show 2023.
The project, named The Platform Garden, has been designed in collaboration with Energy Garden, an organisation that creates community-led gardening groups installing planting and solar panels in overground train stations around London.
The Platform Garden is designed as a train station of the future, featuring drought-tolerant and edible planting, and rainwater harvesting techniques. After the show, the garden will be rebuilt at Latimer Road station in London.
As part of their collaboration with IOTA Garden, ADS Laser Cutting has sponsored the metal elements in the garden, including curved powder-coated planters, a bench, and a compost bin. ADS’s team laser cut, folded, fabricated, and painted the garden design components which are an integral part of the garden’s futuristic look and feel.
“We are delighted to have collaborated with IOTA Garden on this exciting garden design project,” said Stuart Rowan, Production Manager at ADS Laser Cutting, who was involved in the management of the project. “We are passionate about supporting projects that have a positive impact on local communities across the UK. The Platform Garden is an innovative project that combines sustainable gardening techniques with futuristic design elements. We are proud to have played a part in bringing this vision to life.”
The Chelsea Flower Show is a national event that attracts garden enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond. The Platform Garden is set to be one of the highlights of the show, showcasing innovative design elements and sustainable gardening practices.
