89% Reduction In Bevelling Time Achieved with the New ATA Karnasch Bevelling Tool

89% Reduction In Bevelling Time Achieved With The New Ata Karnasch Bevelling Tool

Bevelling Tool: working on cast iron and steel can be demanding and challenging on both time and tools.  As part of their fabrication and production process, an ATA customer needed to bevel 20 mm thick steel, and for this, they were using flap discs and cutting discs to achieve the finish they required. It would typically take up to 45 minutes to complete this stage of the process.

Using the new ATA Karnasch Bevelling Tool, however, the process now takes only 5 minutes to achieve a smooth 10 mm chamfer at 45 degrees across the required length.

Thanks to the ATA Karnasch Bevelling tool and cutter, the process is now more efficient, consistent, and requires minimal physical effort. With the solid carbide cutter range available in a choice of diameters, and the Tisinos® coating as standard giving longer tool life, you can achieve accurate and smooth bevelled or rounded edges in one pass – every time!

Easy to set up and adjust the cutting height, the ATA Karnasch Bevelling Tool and cutter range have been developed for use across the toughest industries for applications such as weld preparation, edge chamfering, edge bevelling, and radius work. Available in both pneumatic and electric options, you can find full details by visiting atagroup.com/bevelling
