Air Turbine Tools® Highlights the Unique 0145SSV

0145SSV

Air Turbine Technology Inc., the inventor of the World’s first governed high-speed turbine spindles, live tools and hand tool ranges, highlights the 0145SSV Angle Hand Tool Series.

Weighing just 6 ounces (0.17 kg), the patented 45° design of the 0145SSV fits the contours of the operator’s palm, giving the operator fingertip control for highly precise cutting whilst minimizing fatigue during prolonged use.

Air Turbine Tools® patented governed turbine increases cfm air flow to match load so that the 0145SSV maintains its rated high speeds of 50,000 and 65,000 rpm in cut. Only a light hand is required to guide the tool as high speed does cleaner and faster.

Powered by the direct-drive air turbine motor in its 45° head, the 0145SSV operates with only 2 moving parts and ultra-low vibration. It requires no maintenance or lubrication, eliminating lubrication costs and oil misting from the workplace. With this design, there are no gears to vibrate or high frequency brushes to heat up, eliminating common wear points and minimizing repair costs associated with other types of power tools.

The compact form of the 0145SSV combines comfort and 0.2 HP power to cut cleanly with 1/8” (3 mm) collet capacity tools and mounted points. Operating at a vibration level that results in no working time limit and under-67 dBA sound level, the 0145SSV helps manufacturers meet workplace safety standards while enhancing operator comfort.

Engineered to perform in the most demanding manufacturing environments, the 0145SSV Hand Tool from Air Turbine Technology Inc. offers a new standard in speed, power, comfort and productivity — all in a clean, quiet and maintenance-free design. The 0145SSV is an ergonomic high-speed replacement for traditional pencil tools and grinders used in precision deburring and finishing applications across MRO, medical, electronics, luxury, mold making, blade repair and other high-tolerance industries.
