MGS Relocates Drilling Warehouse to Expanded Coventry Site

MGS relocate drilling warehouse operations to Coventry.

Geotechnical and ground source heat specialists, MGS, have announced the strategic relocation of their drilling warehouse operations from Washington to Coventry.

Following investment into their existing facility in Coventry, MGS’ Coventry site will now process all drilling product storage, order fulfilment and distribution from the site.

The move positions MGS in a more central and accessible location, enabling the business to respond more quickly to last-minute and urgent requirements.

“With our drilling operations now relocated to our Coventry site, we expect to deliver an even more dependable next-day service for drilling products across the UK – supported by our improved access to major transport hubs” says Anthony Stupak, Managing Director of MGS.

The expanded Coventry site features larger storage capacity and streamlined logistics facilities, allowing the company to manage inventory more effectively.

MGS also confirmed that the centralisation of its operations will reduce transport between their sites and deliveries, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting the UK’s net zero targets.

“This move not only improves our logistics efficiency and customer service, but also supports our broader sustainability goals. By minimising the amount of product we move by road, we can lower our carbon emissions as a business” adds Anthony.

Established in 1988, MGS has been a trusted supplier of specialist products used in ground investigation, geothermal and water well drilling, railway drainage, and landfill gas extraction.

With almost four decades of experience supporting large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the UK, MGS is known for delivering quality, expertise, and engineering excellence.

“We appreciate everyone’s cooperation throughout this change and we look forward to continuing to support our customers nationwide in 2026!” concludes Anthony.
