DocuWare allows you to manage processes efficiently and transparently. Essential documents, including the likes of engineering drawings, inspection reports, material orders, and supplier records can stored centrally and securely, and are always accessible when and where you need them be that at your desk, on the go, or from your home office.
DocuWare Aura: a built-in AI assistant
New DocuWare’s built-in AI assistant, DocuWare Aura, transforms document management and information retrieval. Available to all DocuWare Cloud customers, DocuWare Aura supports more informed business decisions by allowing users the ability to ask, summarise and compare across DocuWare file cabinets.
Unlike general-purpose AI chatbots, DocuWare Aura does not rely on publicly available information or disconnected data sources. It directly accesses document repositories, respects existing permissions and reasons over the actual business documents stored within DocuWare. Users can ask business questions in natural language and receive answers based on their organisation’s own documents, including direct references to the original sources. DocuWare Aura is also accessible via API, enabling even external AI agents to interact with DocuWare while maintaining all security and permissions.
DocuWare IDP: expanded intelligent document processing
DocuWare IDP, an AI-powered solution that automatically captures, classifies, and extracts data from documents, is now more tightly integrated into the new DocuWare platform and adds capabilities.
Gen AI-based Zero Shot Extraction allows the system to extract data from document types it has not encountered before, without requiring prior training. DocuWare IDP now also supports OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which converts text in scanned documents and images into machine-readable data in 20 languages, making it easier to automate document capture in local business languages. Additionally, Master Data Matching has been added into DocuWare IDP, which compares extracted document data against master data from other systems to produce usable business records.

DocuWare integrates seamlessly with your existing IT landscape and connects to more than 1,000 applications – including ERP, MES, PPS, SCM, CAD/CAM, QMS, and accounting systems. You can access documents archived in DocuWare directly from your preferred software, giving you complete business insights without switching programmes.
