An established, Midlands-based, software and business consultancy, specialising in manufacturing businesses has undergone a major re-branding as part of its forward-thinking growth strategy and has now become HIT Technology.

Founded by Paul Hartshorn in Blaby, Leicestershire, Mr H.IT Ltd has been providing expert support and consultancy for the globally-recognised ERP solution, SYSPRO, for 14 years but now has plans to grow further, offering even better service to its customers and more employment opportunities for people in the UK.

The re-brand, which was launched at the end of September, sees the business change its name to HIT Technology which better reflects the nature of the business and brings a fresh perspective to the market.

In the first quarter of 2022, experienced business leader and digital transformation specialist, Andrew Longland, was appointed as Managing Director of the business and he has immediately set about making plans for the future of the company.

In March 2022, HIT Technology was appointed as an Authorised Solutions Partner for SYSPRO in the UK and Ireland, which brings even more value to customers that use SYSPRO.

The re-brand was led by Andrew as part of the growth strategy and is the first step in a major increase in marketing efforts for the business.

Speaking of the re-brand, Andrew commented “this is an exciting time for us and we want to promote a more professional and harder hitting brand to the market. We have a clear purpose and we want our customers to understand what that is. The new brand will help with this”.

The business is also investing in its people, systems and processes to further enhance the service and value that it can offer to its customers who are typically small to medium sized manufacturers based anywhere in the UK and Ireland, but with some customers as far afield as the USA and Australia.
