AESSEAL and Audacia Launch Software Platform

AESSEAL and Audacia Launch Software Platform

An innovative software platform has been launched by global mechanical seals manufacturer AESSEAL, after a four-year partnership with software developer Audacia. The software platform will be used exclusively by Rotherham-based AESSEAL for global knowledge management, data warehousing, sales and marketing.

“Working with Audacia was a collaborative two-way process and the level of communication throughout the development of our knowledge management solution was fantastic. The platform has had a significant impact on our business efficiency, across all functions and on a global scale,” said AESSEAL group IT director, Stuart Welsh.

“Our ability to respond to customer inquiries has massively increased and the resource required is substantially reduced. We’ve always been good at this, but the new platform allows us to be absolutely excellent at it,” he added.

The knowledge management solution is built upon three core modules which allow AESSEAL to intelligently map customer sites, collate rich data from sealing maintenance operations and gain competitive advantages in producing evidence-based proposals for bespoke product and service offerings. The platform also enables engineering and sales teams to produce bespoke proposals while on site with customers, reducing lead times from hours to minutes.

Audacia is a Leeds based company that specialises in developing problem-solving technology for complex business critical projects. “We pride ourselves on building strong long-lasting partnerships with clients to understand their business, and then providing a powerful combination of innovative software and reliable solutions,” said Philip White, managing director of Audacia.

“For many complex global businesses, upgrading and integrating legacy systems is a daunting task, so it’s vital they have the right technology partner to solve those problems and ultimately create commercial advantage,” he continued.

Founded in 2010, Audacia enables its customers to improve operational efficiencies, increase competitive advantage and realise the commercial benefits of innovative technologies, including virtual reality and machine learning. Its clients include British Gypsum, Story Homes, Europcar and other companies in the manufacturing, housebuilding and agricultural sectors.
