The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) will host a live executive briefing in conjunction with the release of its much-anticipated Annual PLASTICS Size and Impact Report. The webinar event will take place on September 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET.
The 2025 Size and Impact Report is PLASTICS’ annual flagship economic analysis measuring the plastics industry’s contribution to the U.S. economy. The report answers critical questions about the industry’s scale and strength, including: How large is the plastics industry? How does it compare to other sectors? How fast is it growing, and where is it concentrated across the U.S.?
The event will offer an examination of the industry’s role in the broader economy and provide a comprehensive outlook on future trends. Backed by detailed economic data, the report highlights key manufacturing indicators such as equipment investment, employment, shipments, and overall production capacity offering a clear picture of where the industry stands today—and where it’s headed.
PLASTICS’ Chief Economist Dr. Perc Pineda will offer an overview of the report. Presenters will include PLASTICS’ President and CEO Matt Seaholm, moderated by PLASTICS’ Vice President of Public Affairs, Stephanie Strategos Polis.
This webinar is open to members of the press, PLASTICS members, and interested parties.
