With two new orders from the Gulf region, LS telcom is strengthening its role as a partner for electronic warfare. While one project comprises a system upgrade for an existing customer, the other involves the delivery of a new electronic reconnaissance and defense system for a new customer.
LS telcom AG has received a significant order from a customer in the Gulf region. This comprises the expansion and modernization of existing hardware and software in the field of electronic warfare (EW). The aim is to further expand electronic capabilities for the early detection of threats. The order also includes components for electronic countermeasures (so-called “jamming”).
A few days earlier, the French subsidiary LS telcom SAS received another military order from the Gulf region. This involves equipping a new customer with state-of-the-art electronic warfare components for electronic reconnaissance and defense.
The total order volume of both projects amounts to over 6 million euros. Implementation is expected to take place within 18 months as soon as the corresponding export licenses have been obtained.
The projects won confirm LS telecom’s strategic orientation in the defense sector and underline the international demand for technologies for electronic situational awareness and protective measures in the frequency spectrum.
