These Are the Most Anticipated Electric Car Launches

With more and more manufacturers pushing all efforts into providing innovative electric options, experts are revealing some of the most exciting electric car launches to come. The motoring landscape is ever changing, with super modern and futuristic motors which feel as though they have travelled back in time about to disrupt the market.

Maserati MC20 EV – 2022

Designed and crafted for a one-of-a-kind driving excitement, this super sporty electric motor incorporates fully digitalised interiors and butterfly wing doors for a feeling of complete luxury. Reaching 0-100 km/h in <2.9 seconds with a top speed of >325 km/h, the electric offering from Maserati is sure to impress all motorists.

Cadillac Lyriq – 2022

Making waves as the luxury manufacturer’s first ever production electric car, the lyriq is set to be the first of many for Cadillac. The motor showcases brand new features such as the 33inch wide digital instrument display and infotainment screen across the dashboard. Cadillac claims The Lyriq is capable of rapid-charging up to 150kW, a speed sure to impress all motorists.

Cadillac Celestiq – 2023

The sister car to the Lyriq SUV, this electric car is slightly wilder and set to be a true flagship luxury sedan. The driving range is set to be at least 300 miles per charge with all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The car will provide motorists with an ultra-luxurious experience through features like the glass panelled roof which can be adjusted from transparent to opaque, with each passenger able to adjust the section of roof directly above them for their own personalised lighting.

Canoo Pickup Truck – 2023

Due to hit the market next year is this super unique motor, made by an electric automotive start-up gaining a reputation for producing unique looking vehicles. The new pickup is no exception, with a flat front with a futuristic feel which places the driver almost on top of the front wheels and a rectangular steering wheel. The truck will have a 200 mile range.

Mercedes-Benz EQG-Class – 2023

The Mercedes G-Class range will gain an electric model with a subtle makeover. Bespoke aluminium 22 inch wheels are a base for the kitted out motor, fitted with illuminated trim elements and a roof rack lined with LED strips.

Jeep Wrangler electric – 2023

One of the most iconic American motors is getting its very own electric makeover, due to be launched in Europe in the first half of 2023. The new model is set to be slightly smaller than the Renegade and revises Jeep’s infamous chunky exterior into a more sleek and aerodynamic exterior.

Cupra Tavascan – 2024

Cupra’s first all-electric road vehicle is set to begin production in 2024. The impressive model promises a 77kWh lithium-ion battery pack, powering a pair of electric motors and allowing the car to roam for up to 450km. Official specifications are yet to be confirmed, but with this power it is estimated a 0-62mph time of approximately 6.5 seconds is possible.
