In partnership with our longstanding dealer for Romania, Gradinariu Import Export, the SCARAB team celebrates our largest single fleet of sweepers in a European city.

These sweepers, of which 31 are in the 6 cubic metre category, are a cornerstone of Bucharest’s large street cleansing and waste management programs. 

Bucharest, like many cities across Europe, is densely populated and receives a lot of additional traffic from tourism each year. These SCARAB sweepers were chosen by the customer to support their operation due to their vast hopper capacities and ease of operation.

Of course, the delivery was supported by commissioning and training from Gradinariu – who have worked closely in partnership with the SCARAB team for over two decades.

Speaking on the most recent deliveries, Export Sales Manager for RAVO and SCARAB, Erdal Kurt celebrates “a momentous order for Bucharest”.
