Messe Frankfurt UK, is gearing up for the sixth edition of the Automotive Supply Chain Forum 2025 (held at Automechanika Birmingham), scheduled to take place from 3rd to 5th June 2025 at the NEC, Birmingham. This dedicated trade event promises to be a pivotal platform for industry professionals focusing on the automotive supply chain.
The Automotive Supply Chain Forum has evolved into a vital event for the UK automotive sector, and its 2025 edition is set to offer even more significant insights and opportunities. Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which saw a remarkable turnout with 2,160 visitors, the forum will spotlight key themes and innovations impacting the supply chain.
The forum will feature the new Innovation4Mobility segment, a key highlight designed to address the latest advancements and pressing issues within the automotive supply chain. Attendees can explore the latest developments in electrification and battery supply chains, digital transformation, and the advancements in connected and autonomous vehicles. The forum will also address the role of composites and advanced materials in automotive innovation and examine strategies for achieving sustainability and net-zero goals.
These topics reflect the industry’s shift towards sustainability and technological innovation, providing invaluable insights for navigating future challenges and opportunities.
The 2025 forum will once again partner with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), featuring the popular Meet the Buyer programme. This initiative, scheduled for 4th June, facilitates one-on-one meetings between automotive supply chain suppliers, key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and tier-one buyers. Not only does this create meaningful connections and potential collaborations but ensures the presence of key engineering and procurement personnel at the event.
In addition to the Automotive Supply Chain Forum, the event will be co-located with six other major engineering exhibitions, collectively drawing 350 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors. This strategic co-location maximises exposure and networking opportunities for all participants, making it a central hub for industry innovation and engagement.
Simon Albert, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt UK, commented: “The Automotive Supply Chain Forum 2025 is set to be a game-changer for the sector. With a renewed focus on innovation and industry evolution, this event will provide a critical platform for discussing the future of automotive supply chains. We’re excited to partner with SMMT and their Meet the Buyer event once again and bring together key stakeholders to explore new opportunities and address emerging challenges.”
