Manufacturing Apprenticeships Available at BMW : Automotive giant BMW Group’s UK manufacturing operations has made available more than 40 apprenticeships. The apprenticeships last between three and four years, and cover a wide range of areas to help equip young people with the skills needed for a career in the automotive sector.
The available roles are at BMW’s Mini plant in Oxford, the home of Mini production, its Swindon plant, which produces pressings and sub-assemblies for both Mini and BMW, and its Hams Hall plant, which manufactures Mini and BMW engines.
Year 11-13 students, parents and teachers can find out more about the opportunities available by attending a BMW Group apprenticeship open evening in Oxford on 17 January 2019 where guests will have the chance to talk to current and former apprentices, as well as training managers, to find out more about the programme’s content, benefits and how to apply.
Entries are open until 13 March 2019 ahead of an apprenticeship start date next August.
