MAN Truck & Bus Deliver new PerformanceLine to Logistics Company

MAN Truck & Bus Deliver new PerformanceLine to Logistics Company : MAN Truck & Bus UK has delivered a new MAN TGX 26.640 PerformanceLine to a family run logistics company. The company decided on this truck after seeing it on display by the manufacturing company at the Commercial Vehicle Show which took place earlier this year.

The leading Truck Manufacturer have supplied the new vehicle to Cheetah Couriers and Logistics and the new truck will be the showcase of the Courier company’s 22-strong fleet. The logistics company first saw the vehicle at the trade show at the NEC, calling it the standout truck of the show.

The new MAN TGX truck has also been purchased to mark Cheetah Couriers and Logistics 36th year of trading. The family run business was started by John and Sue Pritchard, who are also now taking a step back and handing the reigns to their children, Lewis and Abi. The investment in a worthwhile vehicle is an ideal way to mark this exchange.

The new vehicle delivered by MAN Truck & Bus will be operating from Cheetah’s depot in Hemel Hempstead. The new truck will be working for up to 18 hours a day and there is expected to be some competition among the drivers at the company about who will get to drive it. The MAN TGX will be used for contracted night-time haulage and as well as adhoc day-time deliveries.

All of the trucks used by Cheetah are manufactured by MAN Truck & Bus, and the company is also looking at the possible benefits of the MAN TGE vehicle as well. The flexibility provided by Cheetah’s dealership John Arnold Commercials in terms of service opportunities allows the company to develop a fleet that perfectly meets the company’s needs.

The Commercial Vehicle Show was an ideal platform to showcase the new MAN Truck, with a number of companies expressing an interest in the vehicle. Cheetah Couriers and Logistics was one of the first, but no doubt not the last, customer from the trade show to place an order for the newly manufactured MAN TGX 26.640.
