It reduces the level of manual skill traditionally required to produce high-quality GRP parts, ensuring consistent consolidation and fibre wet-out. Additionally, the controlled environment created by the silicone membranes has allowed us to reduce overall material usage and improve efficiency across various layups. With continued guidance from Alan Harper Composites, we are now in the process of manufacturing our own silicone bags in-house, giving us greater control over production and reinforcing our commitment to precision and repeatability in composite manufacturing.”
