Narrow Aisle Ltd on Target for Year-on-Year Global Sales Increase

The manufacturer of the Flexi range of articulated forklift trucks as well as a wide range of other intralogistics solutions, Narrow Aisle Ltd, has announced that they are on target to achieve a year-on-year global sales uplift throughout its range of more than 20% in 2017.

The logistics solutions manufacturer has said that the increase in sales that have been experienced over the course of the year to the growing sales that have been seen in the Asian and American markets. In particular, the success of the Flexi StorMAX AC high density storage system, which Narrow Aisle first introduced towards the end of 2015. This product range released by the manufacturer and logistics solutions provider appears to be popular with customers as the Flexi StorMAX AC allows them to maximise the cube by delivering a net 50% increase in the number of pallets that are able to be stored in the space. This solution offers more storage space in comparison to the storage systems that are served by more traditional reach trucks.

It is thought that according to the Commercial Director for Narrow Aisle, John Maguire, the sites that have utilised the Flexi StorMAX AC system, and had their operations reconfigured around this change have seen an overall project payback in less than 12 months. It is thought that the StorMAX system is particularly appealing to those customers who are managing a growth in online sales and are looking to adapt their existing pallet stores in order to create space for new activities. When managing online sales, space is needed to pick and pack as well as manage the returns of any orders and a number of other fulfillment based tasks that require space. John Maguire has said that the Flexi StorMAX system is ideal for offering the space for these changes.
