Manufacturer Scotframe Acquired by Saint-Gobain

Off-site manufacturer and operator in the closed pane construction market, Scotframe has been acquired by Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland. The acquisition was recently completed, and now Scotframe will operate as a part of the Saint-Gobain Group.

Scotframe manufactures and supplies their clients with full timber frame housing kits. These kits can be used by small and medium builders as well as larger development companies and self-builders working in the UK. Scotframe has two manufacturing sites and four sales and showroom locations in Scotland. The company delivers across the country as well as in England.

The Founder and MD of Scotframe, Bob Edwards will continue as the Managing Director of Scotframe after the recent acquisition by Saint-Gobain. On top of this, the business will continue to operate as normal, delivering high-quality products to their customers.

Both Saint-Gobain and Scotframe focus on offering great living spaces as well as solutions that will lead to the improvement of daily life. This acquisition will allow Saint-Gobain to expand their offerings in the off-site manufacturing and construction markets as the business looks to grow going forward.

Both Saint-Gobain and Scotframe share the same core focus on safety as well as the understanding and supporting customers over the course of the designing and building process. The two companies are also committed to the role building performance has in the creation of comfortable and healthy living spaces.
