Dieselec Thistle Generators Passed Achilles Audit

Dieselec Thistle Generators Passed Achilles Audit : Dieselec Thistle Generators (DTG), the UK leading generator specialist, has successfully passed its reaccreditation audit by Achilles. The two day audit includes office and site visits to review the business’ practices in relation to health and safety, quality control, and environmental compliance to make sure that all processes and procedures are in place. This audit happens once every three years in addition to an annual check-up.

We’re delighted to have received re-accreditation from Achilles, which is testament to the strength of our best practice in all areas of HSEQ. The Achilles audit takes a really holistic approach to business reviews, and we welcome this process in supporting us with maintaining our strategy for continuous improvement, said Paul Moore, Managing Director at DTG.

As the global leader and partner of choice for supply chain risk and performance management in industrial, infrastructure, and natural resource sectors, Achilles runs supplier pre-qualification programmes, validates data, and conducts industry audits to help mitigate risks. The business brings together professional communities, buyers, and suppliers to work together to agreed common standards.

Achilles creates and manages a global network of collaborative industry communities, allowing trading partners to share high quality, structured, and real-time data. It provides validated data and insightful analytics to enable buyers across a sector to identify and manage risk, and suppliers to increase market reach while increasing compliance and minimising costs for the network as a whole.

Due to the Achilles accreditation, DTG has continued to demonstrate strong and sustained growth through major infrastructure projects such as the new Queensferry Crossing, data centre installations for major financial institutions in London and Edinburgh, and a portfolio of NHS hospitals throughout the UK.
