Bronto Skylift, the truck mounter manufacturer, is launching its smallest model to date – the 35, working height S35EM. The first unit has already been delivered to Finland-based rental company Jalo&Jalo and its official launch will take place at Platformers Days, between the 14th and 15th of September in Hohenroda, Germany.

The S35EM has been designed with ease of use and heavy use in mind, meaning it has the strength of a big machine, yet it’s light and compact enough to make the operation easy to manoeuvre. Transportation length is 9.5m, outreach is 29m and maximum basket load is 500kg. The basket also comes in three options: basic, 2.04m wide and 500kg load; wide, 2.4m wide and 450kg; and extendable, max width of 3.4m and 350kg load.

“For some time now our customers have hoped for the trusted Bronto on a smaller scale, this is the very answer to this demand. We are bringing the same quality equipment to lower level access that we provide to the higher worksites,” said Antti Suoniemi, Access sales director at Bronto Skylift.

The basket is located to the rear on a landing stage with a pull-out set for easy access, while the control panel containing all levers and safety alerts is attached to it and is also movable to as required by each task. Moreover, to make loading and unloading even easier, the basket can be lowered all the way to the ground level.

The S35EM is a self-drive unit, it’s quick and easy to deploy on site with variable jacking and is ideal for rental applications and inner-city work. Optional equipment includes hydraulics and electricity in the cage, hydraulic material winch and ultrasonic collision guard.

”There is an increasing use of platforms for window cleaning and maintenance work in the cities, where the size and time matters, so we wanted to create an inexpensive solution for city rental opportunities. The S35EM provides easy and quick operation for end users and is our answer for the growing need for a self-drive units,” said Ian James, key account manager, Bronto Skylift.
