UKSOL Celebrates Double Milestone at 2025 Installer Show

UKSOL Celebrates Double Milestone at 2025 Installer Show:

UKSOL Ltd, the leading British producer and exporter of high-quality solar PV modules, is celebrating two significant milestones at this year’s Installer Show: 20MW of installations under the ECO4 scheme; and 10 years of sustainable growth – reaching a manufacturing capacity of 4MW per day and distributing to over 50 countries.

Andrew Moore, UKSOL’s CEO and an Export Champion for the Department of International Trade, is speaking at the show’s solar pavilion on Wednesday 25 June. He will share brief insights from the company’s 10-year journey, before demonstrating how installers can benefit from a 45% uplift on ECO4 funded projects – under which UKSOL has now supplied 20MW of solar modules.

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a UK government energy efficiency scheme designed to tackle fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions. Launched in 2013 and administered by Ofgem, its fourth phase (ECO4) currently runs to March 2026. Under ECO, major gas and electricity suppliers are required to promote measures that improve the ability of low-income, fuel-poor and vulnerable households to heat their homes.

UKSOL has developed a 435W solar PV module, with integrated Tigo cloud optimisation, that qualifies as an ECO4 innovation measure[1]; incorporating anti-shading technology, online monitoring and additional safety features to deliver higher performance.

Andrew Moore says: “British installers are increasingly turning to UKSOL’s Ofgem-approved optimised solar panels to benefit from a 45% uplift on their ECO4 projects. Based on our 20MW of ECO4 installations, across over 5000 UK homes, we’ve seen that typically translating to an extra £3,500 of funding on a standard 10 panel installation.

“Not only that, but they are also attracted to our genuine UK presence; with British quality standards, backed by a 30 year warranty under British law, and a local technical support team.”

Typical uplifts from using UKSOL ECO4 optimised 435W panels are:

  • £275 extra per panel when installed on a social housing contract;
  • £350 extra per panel when installed on a standard property;
  • £500 extra per panel when installed alongside solid wall insulation.

For example, a recent 19 panel UKSOL project, secured a £5187 ECO4 funding boost.

Andrew Moore concludes: “I am proud to be presenting at the Installer Show in UKSOL’s tenth year of growth and innovation. Our ECO4 optimised modules are just one example of how our dedicated team has adapted to rapidly changing market and regulatory demands. By keeping ahead of these changes, staying true to our UK roots and committing to the highest levels of supply chain ethics, UKSOL has succeeded where, sadly, many solar suppliers have failed. We look forward to supporting and expanding our loyal community of suppliers, distributors, installers and end customers through the next decade and beyond.”
