Ridge and Partners has acquired structural and civil engineering consultancy Scott Hughes Design (SHD) in a deal which will see the Manchester company expand into Leeds. Led by founding directors Ian Scott and Wendy Broomhead, SHD’s 21-strong Manchester practice will join the team, with its Leeds office rebranding to fall under its new parent.

Ridge projects worked on from Leeds and Manchester include Circle Square, Project Urban and Viadux.
