Positive Outlook for 2022 with Planned Investments

FCMAYDIG

Positive Outlook for 2022 with Planned Investments : Fine Cut have big plans for 2022 with a whole host of investments planned to improve productivity, lean manufacturing and to reduce energy costs. The plan should see Fine Cut drive into the next 5 years with improved equipment, cleaner and better working areas.
Investments kicked off at the beginning of the year by taking on 5 new personnel split over both the office and factory. Key staff members have been bought in to fill the gaps and alleviate the strain of the increasing workload.
2022 will see the introduction of a fully modular finishing machine to be integrated in to the roll-to-roll division – this machine will allow for quicker turnaround times and a larger capacity to pass through this growing department.
The Digital Suite will be enhancing its digital cutting capabilities by 200% to accommodate the increase in print production and speed up turn around times with double the cutting abilities. And the addition of another flat bed printer later in the year will welcome the requirements currently outside the abilities of the present digital print machines.

The factory will be drastically updated with the relocation of the screen print department and the expansion of the digital and laser suites. The updates take into account new heating and  ventilation which not only significantly reduce costs but also reduce their carbon footprint considerably. The completion of the works in the Autumn will see the company able to work smarter not harder for 2023!
