Make UK Environment, Health & Safety Team Launch Podcast

The Make UK EHS team have launched the “Root Cause Analysis” podcast, which is aimed at getting to the heart of the most important issues in environment, health and safety management today.

Hosted by health and safety expert, Chris Newson B Eng (Hons) CFIOSH PIEMA, “Root Cause Analysis” promises to deliver thought-provoking conversations with regulators, accreditation bodies, and EHS professionals trying to keep people and the environment safe from harm one initiative at a time. It is aimed at anyone interested in or already working in the fields of environment, health and safety or sustainability. Additionally, the guests and topics may interest business leaders who want to gain competitive advantage.   

Host, Chris Newson, brings a wealth of knowledge a unique perspective to the podcast, having spent years as QHSE Manager before joining Make UK, where he has delivered training and consultancy for individuals and SMEs, as well as large organisations. 

Chris says: “Root Cause Analysis” is designed to foster deeper connections and to share our collective knowledge and experience as well as getting listeners closer to key individuals and organisations they may not ordinarily have access to.

Listeners can tune in to hear in-depth interviews with an impressive range of special guests from the across the world of EHS. The inaugural episode features an exclusive conversation with David Butter, HM Principal Inspector of Health and Safety, Head of Manufacturing Sector, at Health and Safety Executive who believes there are major benefits to business by having a good relationship with the regulator. 

The podcast is available on Spotify and YouTube with new episodes released every two months.
