Thule Wins a Record-Breaking Twelve iF DESIGN AWARDS

Thule

Thule was awarded twelve iF DESIGN AWARDS in this year’s competition, making  2024 a record-breaking year for the Swedish outdoor brand. Thule has a history  of successful entries in the award, but never before have so many different  products been awarded in one year. The twelve awards put Thule among the  20 most successful companies worldwide participating in the contest this year.

Thule is in an exhilarating phase of intensive product launches and development. The investment  in research and development is unparalleled, as Thule continues to push the boundaries of  design and functionality in the outdoor sector. Last fall, this commitment was underscored by  hosting THEX – Thule Experience – an iconic event that brought together our ambassadors  and over 600 guests and journalists. This runway show and exhibition showcased the breadth  and depth of Thule, providing a vivid glimpse into the future of the brand.

”We are absolutely thrilled to witness the Thule brand scaling new heights of recognition.  This accomplishment not only sets a new record for Thule but also underscores the tireless  dedication, creativity, and hard work of our team. Our journey has always been driven by a  passion to develop products that are not just innovative but also resonate deeply with the  needs and aspirations of our users. This recognition motivates us to continue pushing the  boundaries of design and functionality.”

Tina Liselius, Vice President Brand, Thule

The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. Organized from  Germany since 1954, the iF label is a reliable sign of good design for consumers and the design  community. International design experts meet to select award-winning designs, basing their  evaluation on strictly neutral jury screening standards.

“This is a fantastic way to start the new year. In 2024, Thule launches more new products than  ever before, and we even enter two new categories; child car seats and dog. The many awards  are therefore great testaments to our commitment to product design. We believe that all  products should be easy to use, of high quality and built to last – and we are happy to see that  our philosophy resonates with others. We were awarded in several different product categories,  something that clearly shows that there is a strong Thule design DNA in everything that we do.”

Henrik Eriksson, Global Director Design, Thule

A special recognition was made for the stroller Thule Urban Glide 3, that won an  iF Gold Award. This year, just 75 entries out of 11 800 won this award.

“Thule brings a unique and fresh perspective to the baby stroller. Durable, robust, and  engineered to perfection, this design inspires trust, credibility, and convenience. It was  designed with longevity in mind, growing with the family by seamlessly integrating  new components as the child develops. The perfect stroller for active urban parents.”
