With live product demonstrations and brand-new products premiered at the show Southgate showcased a brand-new stand, its biggest to-date, featuring a vast range of packing solutions with a sustainable edge.

Over the last 12 months, the company has launched a huge number of sustainable products from carton sealing, paper mailers and void fill, as well as machinery to increase productivity. This is part of Southgate’s ambitious committed to introduce sustainable alternatives for all its key product lines.
The response to Southgate’s new product on display was hugely positive, items demonstrated included: the BP555 Tape Dispenser, U-Boat, Roll Cages, Modular Rack and AirWave and making its first appearance at IMHX was the three Pacplan Computer on Wheels (COWs).
Darren Smith, Head of Marketing at Southgate, said: “We were delighted with the response at IMHX and it was great to be back at the show. It makes such as difference to be able to demonstrate our products to visitors so they can see first-hand the benefits they can bring to their operations.
“Our range of heavy-duty carts and trollies were well received, demonstrating how new equipment can reduce operator physical stress and increase productivity across a range of industries, from e-commerce and industrial to FMCG markets.”
With the continuous growth of e-commerce driving demand for specialist order fulfilment services, IMHX provides a showcase all elements of third-party logistics including order picking systems, packaging technology and parcel sortation solutions.
Darren added: “The new computer of wheels (Cow) really turned many heads at the show. These height adjustable mobile workstations are specially designed to improve productivity and were of real interest to those in warehouse and industrial environments.”
