Direct-to-Object Digital Print Capabilities : Fine Cut have invested in a new print machine to add to their already well equip digital suite. The new machine fills a hole in their current print capabilities – offering direct to object printing up to a depth of 150mm, which until now could not be offered digitally in house.

Being able to offer a print application to almost any substrate is paramount within the print industry as well as being able to offer direct digital print, eliminating labels and additional packaging is key in today’s climate.

Digital print offers so much more than traditional pad and screen print – the set-up is minimal, the ability to do short runs and samples is much more feasible, and not to mention the full colour print capabilities achieving stunning results. Combine this with complete customisation and variable data including barcodes, serialisation, and personalisation – digital print wins hands down every time.

Fine Cut also look to update and expand their current digital rotary offering by the Summer due to the increased demand in rotary print and the ongoing boom within the reusable drinks bottle market. Both new machines provide a greener outlook for print by offering direct to object printing, saving on waste and consumables as well as eliminating paper and plastic from the process.
