Zenith Hygiene Group has successfully acquired Harrogate based business Cater-Lyne as it looks to increase its offering to the food services industry.
Cater-Lyne is a family run business with a 30 year history, founded by Ted Collings, which manufactures, supplies and distributes cleaning and hygiene chemicals and products.
The company supplies a range of customers throughout the UK within the food services sector, one of the companyâs most successful and dominant industry sectors.
Cater-Lyne is run by James Hannaway and says it is driven by a focus on sustainability and, like Zenith, is one of only seven cleaning product suppliers accredited by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA).
As part of the deal, Cater-Lyne has been rebranded Zenith Hygiene and its exclusive chemical formulations have been incorporated into Zenithâs range of products.
Both Mr Hannaway and Mr Collings will be involved within the expanded group.
Chief Executive Officer at Zenith Hygiene Group, Ringo Francis, commented: Weâre delighted to announce the completion of Cater-Lyneâs acquisition and to welcome them to the Zenith Group.
Weâve carved out our leadership position within the food service industry and Cater-Lyneâs expertise in this area, along with their very impressive portfolio of customers and importantly, the highly professional team will further add to our offering in this sector.
Meanwhile, Mr Collings said that the company are proud to be joining the Zenith Group family and are very much looking forward to driving the business forward in partnership with each other.
Mr Collings continued: Given Zenithâs ethos is very much in line with our own, with a priority focus on delivering value, results, service and performance to their customers, we knew this would be an exciting and positive next step for us and look forward to being part of Zenithâs ongoing growth.
The sum of the deal was not disclosed.
