Lees Enters Party Scene with New Dessert Product : One of the leading independent confectionery manufacturers in the UK, Lees of Scotland, is unveiling a brand new creation aimed at the dessert and home baking market.
Lees Macaringues, a 24 pack of almond flavour meringue shells, is the first Lees product to be both gluten free and nut free, enhancing the appeal to a wider range of consumers.
The packaging is vibrant and colourful in design, ensuring that the product has prominent impact on the shelf and with the nation still riding high on the baking wave, the nature of the product as meringue shells which are ready to fill will be of particular interest to those gripped by baking fever.
The new product has been developed by Leesâ team of experts who have created a unique recipe. The individual Macaringues come in three exciting colours – purple, pink and green.
Commenting on the new product, NPD Manager at Lees of Scotland, Sheevaun Thomas, commented: The launch of our Lees Macaringues marks a very exciting time at Lees as it is quite different to anything we have previously developed and we are extremely excited for the public to try them.
We have worked hard to get the recipe just right and are pleased we have been able to make the product suitable for those with nut and gluten allergies to still enjoy.
The products are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed at celebrations from an afternoon tea to a dinner party and even at a wedding. They can be included as part of a dessert or served as a canape. There really is no end to the occasions where they can be enjoyed
Lees Macaringues are now available exclusively at Tesco and can be found in the dessert aisle.
Last month, Lees launched three exciting new designs as part of their ever-increasing range.
The new lines are available in the form of individually wrapped 24 pack of Lees Teacakes and Snowballs, along with a vibrant and contemporary redesign of its re-sealable Lees Mini Snowball tub. These impactful new designs will bring the products in line with the rest of the Lees Snowball and Teacake range.
