Watson-Marlow to Showcase New Bredel CIP Pump

Bredel CIP Pump

Sciad Communications / Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) will unveil the new Bredel CIP pump as well as highlight its advanced fluid management technologies during PPMA at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, from 23-25 September 2025.

Visitors to Stand E102 can discover more about the Bredel CIP which is designed for sanitary and hygienic processes that require optimal efficiency and regular clean-in-place (CIP). The Bredel CIP was designed with a new rotor to enable companies to achieve the required CIP velocities in various applications at breweries. The Bredel CIP pump features automatic retractable shoes that fully open the hose, allowing CIP fluid to flow at the optimal velocity for effective cleaning. By retracting the shoes during cleaning, hose compressions at high temperatures are eliminated, thereby extending hose life and reducing costs of replacement hoses. The Bredel CIP is suitable for food and beverage companies, including a wide range of brewing applications as well as handling products like fruit puree.

WMFTS will also demonstrate its industry-leading peristaltic and sinusoidal pumps, designed to boost operational efficiency, improve product quality and reduce energy and resource consumption across key processing industries.

Visitors will discover how the MasoSine Certa Sine® pump delivers high output without compromising yield, making it ideal for demanding applications in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cosmetics industries. Its unique one-shaft, one-seal design delivers superior energy efficiency compared to traditional positive displacement pumps. Certa is also one of the few pumps in the world certified by EHEDG Type EL Aseptic Class I, confirming its suitability for aseptic processing. The aseptic certification confirms the bacteria-tight design when using a double mechanical seal. With easy cleaning and the ability to handle viscous fluids gently, Certa ensures high hygiene standards and product integrity.

WMFTS will also showcase its Watson-Marlow peristaltic pump range, engineered for high-precision fluid handling with accuracy of up to ±0.5. The closed fluid path design ensures complete product isolation during transfer, filling and filtration; minimising contamination risk and supporting sterile processes. Designed with flexibility and ease of use in mind, Watson-Marlow cased drive pumps are ideal for the cultivated alternative protein industry, requiring no hard piping and offering near-zero maintenance. With scalable performance that maintains sterility and accuracy without changing contact materials, Watson-Marlow pumps provide reliable, repeatable control across all stages of production.

The Qdos® chemical metering and dosing pump range will also be on display, offering reliable and cost-effective performance for water and waste treatment in a wide range of food and beverage processing plants and sanitary applications. Qdos peristaltic dosing pumps, including the Qdos H-FLO for higher flow rates up to 600 L/hr, can eliminate the need for ancillary equipment and deliver flow rates from 0.1 mL/min to 120 L/hr at pressures up to 9 bar. Qdos pumps have an accuracy of ±1% and repeatability of ±0.5%, and this accuracy results in reduced chemical costs and contributes to less emissions with fewer chemical deliveries.

WMFTS invites visitors to discover how these innovative pumping solutions can help optimise operations, ensure regulatory compliance and drive sustainable performance across critical applications.

Additional technologies on display at the Watson-Marlow stand include:

  • Flexicon PF7+, a benchtop peristaltic dispensing pump developed for accurate, reliable manual filling of sensitive fluids in GMP and cleanroom environments. Its closed fluid path removes any risk of cross-contamination, making the PF7+ ideal for aseptic filling.
  • The Flexicon Flexfeed 30 (FF30), a bottle handling and capping machine for bottles up to 50 mm in diameter. Paired with PF series pumps, it enables fully automated filling from
  • Aflex high-purity PTFE flexible hoses, offering best-in-class kink resistance for challenging applications. The Aflex FaBLINE hose is food-grade, chemically resistant and engineered to meet the latest hygiene standards.

John Rowley, Sales Manager – Food & Beverage and Clean Process at WMFTS UK, said: “We’re excited to connect with manufacturers at PPMA looking to take their processes to the next level. Our team will be on hand to demonstrate how our latest pumping technologies can help solve real-world production challenges, from reducing waste and energy use to ensuring product quality and compliance. Visit our stand to discover scalable, intelligent solutions designed to meet your needs.”

Tim McAllister, Life Sciences Team Lead, added: “Every year, the team looks forward to meeting and discussing the needs of our existing customers and potential new ones as we demonstrate and prove why Watson-Marlow is a respected presence in the Life Sciences sector. We look forward to welcoming you to the stand.”
