JLT Mobile Computers Announced New Rugged Tablet

The leading developer and manufacturer of JLT Mobile Computers has announced that they will be adding a new fully rugged MT2010™ tablet to their existing product portfolio. This new tablet will offer the same high level of support and services that JLT has developed a reputation for. This portfolio expansion has taken place in order to respond to customer demands and also follows the business strategy in place to increase business value to existing customers.

The target industry for the new MT2010™ rugged tablet is warehousing, food and beverage, transportation and ports. These sectors are areas in which the developer and manufacturer already has a strong position, and no doubt the addition to their portfolio will help to improve this further.

JLT Mobile Computers’ latest product, the newest MT2010 rugged tablet has been developed following the current customer’s use of rugged mount terminals in trucks and forklifts. These users have expressed a need for supplemental tablets as well as handheld terminals in order to help them to manage their related applications in their business. Now that the new terminals have been introduced by JLT, customers will be able to benefit from simplified maintenance of their mobile IT because they are experiencing a reduced number of suppliers while also making the most of the support that is offered through the service model provided by JLT.

The customers and sales partners of JLT appreciate the company’s philosophy of being easy to do business with while also offering a high-touch sales model. The company has become good and being able to address customer challenges and has expanded rapidly over the last number of years. This new rugged tablet features a large 10-inch sunlight readable and projected capacitive touchscreen display. This new product is also IP65 dustproof, water resistant and can operate in temperatures between -10 and +50°C and withstand drops of up to 4 feet on to concrete. All of JLT’s products can be tailored to individual; customer requirements in order to better suit their needs.
