Westcolour Announces Major Investment & Fulfilment Expansion

Westcolour install HP PageWide Advantage 2200

Westcolour Ltd is proud to announce a significant milestone in its growth journey with the installation of the HP PageWide Advantage 2200 and the expansion into a new 15,000 sqft facility on Granville Way, Bicester. This strategic investment marks a bold step forward in delivering enhanced print, packaging, and fulfilment services to our valued customers across the UK and beyond.

Andrew Bowden and James Ward, Westcolour Directors and Ownership, shared their excitement:

“We’re delighted to partner with HP – an industry leader in print technology. Their innovation aligns perfectly with Westcolour’s commitment to quality, consistency, and reliability. This investment allows us to deliver more value, more creativity, and more flexibility to our customers.”

The new HP PageWide Advantage 2200 empowers Westcolour with full in-house digital print capabilities, including:

  • Personalised packaging on a wide range of substrates
  • Inline UV and Aqueous finishes (Gloss, Matt, Satin, Grit)
  • High-speed production with reduced waste and make-ready times
  • Seamless integration with in-house mailing, pick and pack, and fulfilment

This technology not only enhances Westcolour’s offering to clients, but also opens up new opportunities in stationery, greeting cards, direct mail, and promotional print – all with full personalisation and premium finishing. In addition to the HP Pagewide, we have added a roll to stack digital print finishing system that will support current and new work opportunities.

To support this growth, Westcolour has added a 15,000 sqft unit equipped with 600 pallet spaces of racking, significantly expanding its storage, pick and pack, and fulfilment capabilities. This investment reflects the company’s commitment to delivering end-to-end solutions with speed, precision, and scalability.

“After a challenging few years for the print industry, we’re seeing renewed trust in print as a high-impact channel,” said Bowden. “Our goal is to help our customers delight their audiences with personalised, value-driven print-whether subscriptions, newsstand or direct mail.”

Looking ahead, Westcolour plans to work closely with HP to leverage optimal performance, proactive support, and continuous innovation.

“This is more than just a technology upgrade – it’s a big move forward of how we serve our customers,” added Ward. “We’re excited about the future and proud to be leading the way in print innovation.”
