New A.Perry & Co Facility Officially Opening on the 21st September

The Royal Highness, the Duke of Kent will open the new modern warehouse and manufacturing facility at A Perry & Co (Hinges) Ltd on Thursday the 21st of September. The new 100,000 sq. ft. facility will offer the business more than 140,000 sq. ft. of total operational warehousing capacity.

The completed site will be opened on Thursday of this week with a plaque unveiling ceremony. The new site is the culmination of a £4 million investment by A. Perry & Co, who are an independent and family owned British company. The manufacturer and supplier of hinges have been operating in Cradley Heath, West Midlands for 92 years, and it is great to see the company remaining in the area while expanding their manufacturing and warehousing capacity. A. Perry has worked with a number of high profile companies in a number of well-known locations such as Buckingham Palace, Wembley Stadium, and Aardmann Animations. The company also supplied the studios that created Star Wars, Harry Potter and Doctor Who.

The investment that has been made on the site has led to the creation of another 20 jobs. These new positions are in addition to the 15 new places that have been filled recently by the manufacturing and warehousing company. A. Perry was first established in 1925 by Arthur Perry, and the business is now into the third and fourth generation of family management. The company works to serve more than 2,500 trade customers and focuses on innovations and diversity and expanding into new markets while also offering tailored management process for their distribution and manufacturing processes.

It is a great honour that The Duke of Kent will be opening in the new facility and commemorating the company’s heritage. A. Perry recorded a 20% growth this year and the company expects that a similar level of growth will occur in 2018 and 2019.
