Multitech Site Services Has Been Acquired by SDIPTECH

Multitech Site Services Ltd has officially joined the international Swedish engineering group SDIPTECH that will help preserve and enhance the business for the future years. It will continue to be a family run business and no change in the workforce will take place.

The business model that SDIPTECH is based on is that every business leader should be responsible for running his/her own business independently. They think that the success for a niche company comes from being close to customers and maintaining the flexibility in the business environment.

The CEO of SDIPTECH, Jakob Holm, said: Multitech has delivered successful projects for many years in temporary infrastructure. The company’s focus correlates very well with SDIPTECH’s, with a good mix of construction industry clients that are engaged in both public and private sector work. With the acquisition of Multitech, we take an additional step in our strategy to expand in London and the UK.”

Multitech was founded in 1998 by Guy and Samantha Scilly and is an award winning temporary site services company and a supplier for the largest UK construction and development businesses with temporary electrics, lighting, plumbing, and complimentary site services.

Guy Scilly said that he is pleased to have passed the ownership to SDIPTECH: I like their business philosophy that we retain complete operational control, the shared values that we hold and the fact that their acquisition preserves not just the Multitech business, but also our workforce who have contributed so significantly to our success. I am in no doubt that SDIPTECH’s expertise and network will enable further growth for Multitech going forward. Having SDIPTECH as a parent company not only improves our position today, but secures all of our tomorrows.”

SDIPTECH is a company based in Stockholm, Sweden, and it acquires niche engineering businesses that contribute to the urban infrastructure. Its partners have the freedom to develop their own offerings while benefiting from having a well-resourced parent company that creates a lot of opportunities.
