Following the successful launch exhibitions last year, Manufacturing and Engineering North East is returning for more exhibitions on the 6th and 7th of July 2016 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
More than 1,300 delegates turned out in force in 2015 for the two day event that was created by MA Exhibitions to allow people to review the diverse range of products, technology and processes available to Manufacturing and Engineering professionals.
This time around the agenda is set to be lead by the Secretary of State for urban agglomeration project Northern Powerhouse, James Wharton MP, who will be closing the conference on the 7th July from 2:15pm to 3pm.
So what can you be expecting to see this year? Well, the M&E North East website has confirmed that the workshops are set to include integrating manufacturing systems, new engineering design creativity techniques and a guide to getting the most out of your electric motors.
There will also be a chance to view Sunderland University’s formula student 2016 entry ready for the IMechE Formula Student Competition held at Silverstone between the 13th and 17th of July later this year.
As well as this, the events main sponsor Japanese manufacturing giants FANUC will be bringing along the FANUC CR-35iA, the worlds first heavy lifting collaborative robot, who will be working in the foyer and will be sure to grab the visitors attention.
Chris Sumner, who is part of the robotics division at FANUC UK LTD, has described the North East as the Home to some of the world’s leading manufacturers. FANUC already has an extensive customer base helping the region to maintain its manufacturing heritage.
You can also expect to see some new products from Electro Mechanical Systems LTD (EMS), and Stewart Goulding of EMS has said, EMS are looking forward to participating in the Manufacturing and Engineering North East show. After several successful Design shows at the Ricoh Arena we have been looking for the right opportunity to be able to present our range of high quality precision motors and drives to the Northern region of the UK and this show gives us just that opportunity.
So with plenty of exciting things on offer to view at the Manufacturing and Engineering North East exhibitions it seems like Newcastle will be set for an impressive couple of days in early July, with registration now open for people who are interested in the shows.
