Bringing together the entire French and European industrial ecosystem, the 8th edition of Global Industrie, held from March 30th to April 2nd, 2026, at Paris Nord Villepinte, welcomed 60,000 industry professionals and 8,000 young people, marking a 12% increase compared to Global Industrie Paris 2024. Chaired by Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of Bpifrance, the event successfully combined innovation, business, forward-looking insights, and talent development—at a time when industry sits at the heart of global concerns. Reflecting the shared priorities of industry stakeholders, the event set the tone for the future of both France and Europe.
Global Industrie has become the central hub where institutions, top executives, professional federations, and companies of all sizes come together to connect and collaborate.
Highlighting the strategic role of industry for economic and technological sovereignty, the event hosted nine ministers, alongside representatives from across the political spectrum, as well as delegations of parliamentarians and senators.
A forward-looking platform on the industry of tomorrow, La Grande Scène, addressed key topics such as international expansion, innovation and its support systems, technological breakthroughs—particularly in energy and digital—talent attractiveness, and skills development.
Global Industrie also strengthened its international dimension with the participation of Germany’s Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Gunther Krichbaum, and with 25% international exhibitors representing 91 countries.

With 2,300 exhibitors across 14 industrial sectors, 50 end-user industries represented, over 3,000 machines in operation, 240 conferences, and 700 speakers, Global Industrie provided companies with the tools, solutions, equipment, and expertise needed to modernise and enhance competitiveness.
The event also showcased the growing interconnections between production systems and other sectors—particularly digital—highlighted by the Digital Technologies Village, bringing together key players in data, cloud computing, digital twins, 5G, and cybersecurity.
Designed to support industrial players, the Booster area addressed challenges related to financing, innovation, skills development, and digital expertise, offering tailored guidance to visitors.
Finally, reflecting the entire industrial value chain, the event featured a dedicated Research & Innovation space, bringing together public and private laboratories, as well as a forward-looking showcase on supply chain and logistics through L’Entrepôt Connecté by GI.

With 130,000 recruitments expected in France in 2026, the industrial sector still faces challenges in attracting new talent.
Designed as an educational platform, Global Industrie welcomed 8,000 young people (from middle school to engineering level) and job seekers, offering them opportunities to engage with professionals and discover cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
The Arena, hosting the GI Avenir initiative (focused on careers and employment) and the Golden Tech competition, along with demonstrations and guided tours, gave visitors a hands-on experience of the industrial world and empowered them to become part of a sector full of opportunity.
Visitors also attended training sessions of WorldSkills champions, preparing for the global competition in Shanghai (September 23–26, 2026), in fields such as:
- Robotics integration
- Additive manufacturing
- Electronics
This year also saw the launch of a Manifesto, promoting a vision of a more innovative, responsible, and sovereign industry. Signed 370 times, it echoed a strong rallying message across the exhibition halls:
“We have the strengths. We have the players. We have the drive. ”The initiative will continue beyond the event, inviting all industry stakeholders to sign and join the movement. The next opportunity for in-person signing will take place at SEPEM Brest.
