On Thursday 21st October, Finch Consulting was selected as the winner of the Professional Services award at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards and Annual Dinner. The category was a tough one, with four other fantastic businesses in the running.
Over 100 companies from across the region entered the awards, and there were around 280 business leaders in the audience.
Sam Metcalf, the Midlands editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries for this year’s awards, with many demonstrating resilience and forward-thinking in the face of the challenges brought about by the pandemic. The judges had some very tough decisions to make over the shortlist, as the competition was extremely high.”
The judges for the awards included Donald Ward and Ashley Oates of Ward Recycling, Ben Buckton of Shakespeare Martineau and Natalie Gasson-McKinley of the Federation of Small Businesses.
Commenting on the win, Managing Director Dom Barraclough says, “We still can’t quite believe that we won! We had no expectations and went along to the evening to enjoy ourselves and celebrate East Midlands Businesses. We believe Finch’s people were a major factor in us being able to achieve this recognition. Finch is nothing without its community. Everyone has worked so hard during the pandemic to help each other, whilst maintaining the excellent support to our clients, and this award is a real testament to them”.
