Autosupplies Wins Car Distributor Awards

The Chesterfield-based motor factor, Autosupplies has been named as the Car Distributor of Excellence as a part of the IAAF Annual Award Ceremony 2017. The specials awards event was held at their new location of the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes on the 7th December. The company is known for being one of the UK’s biggest distributors and was given the award at the ceremony in front of around 600 guests who had all attended in order to celebrate excellence in the sector.

Autosupplies’ latest award has helped to further recognise their position as a leader in the car distribution industry. The outcome has been seen by some as significant, as the results of this award have been formed directly by aftermarket professionals as well as IAAF members working to vote for their preferred distributor, working to rate the company against a wide range of criteria which feature on the IAAF website.

This prestigious accolade has been given to the Chesterfield-based motor factor following a series of other recent wins for the fast growing company. These wins include the title of Factor Branch/ Team of the Year at the Car & Accessory Trader Awards 2017. The company has also seen a rapid level of growth this year, following the acquisition of the Barnsley-based motor factor company, Butlers Automotive. The company has spent 2017 growing their head office at Bolsover as well, working towards their target of being one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK, taking up a 40,000 sq. ft. site and employing more than 90 members of staff while also managing a fleet of more than 50 different delivery vehicles.

The Managing Director of Autosupplies, David Clarke has said that they are delighted to accept the award, with the win a reflection of the hard work and consistent investment that has been put into their business. This is a great way for the company to go in to the New Year and finishes off their most successful year to date as a business.
