MAN Truck & Bus Has Appointed a New Head of Own Retail

Last week it was announced that MAN Truck & Bus UK has appointed a new head of own retail. The leading manufacturing company has appointed David Cussans into the role. David has experience working for MAN Truck & Bus and will be returning to the manufacturers after being the operations director for the company.

David Cussans worked for the leading manufacturer of trucks between the years of 2000 and 2009. During this time, David rose from being the general manager for retail sales to the UK operations director. In the seven years since holding his position as UK operations director, David has been working at the sister company of MAN Truck & Bus, Scania. While working for Scania, Davis was in the role of regional executive director as well as being a part of the Scania GB executive team and a champion of customer service.

In his new role as the head of own retail, David Cussans will be expected to take responsibility for new truck sales and a number of wholly owned branches. David’s extensive experience working with the company will be a great advantage for his new position and it is believed that his knowledge makes him uniquely qualified to this new role with the manufacturer. David will start in his new position as head of own retail in September.

The managing director of MAN Truck & Bus, Thomas Hemmerich has expressed his delight that David will be working for the manufacturer again, feeling that the company is lucky to have David rejoining their numbers and will no doubt be an asset in his new role as head of own retail.

David Cussans has said that he looking forward to join the new management team at MAN Truck & Bus and working with old colleagues. In his new position, David will be working to make sure that MAN Truck & Bus will offer the best possible products to the market and their customers.
