Transaid has welcomed BigChange, a UK technology company, as their newest corporate member. It is officially the 35th company to join the charity and commit to long-term support to its cause.
The members of BigChange team will have the opportunity to initiate their own fundraising events and their industry knowledge and technical expertise will hopefully benefit Transaidâs life-saving programmes in sub-Saharan Africa.

As a fast-growing enterprise that has developed game changing technology for transport and service operators focused around health and safety and operational improvement, we see it as our duty to share our expertise and resources to help communities both near and far to live safely, healthily and sustainably, continues him.
Martin Port will join a donor trip to Zambia in March 2018 to visit the Industrial Training Centre (ITC), which, in partnership with Transaid, has been delivering professional driver training for almost ten years. He, together with the other donors, will also visit the communities involved in the MAMaZ Against Malaria (MAM) project, whose aim is to develop innovative approaches to improve the management of severe malaria cases in rural and high-burden areas.
During 2017, BigChange showed great support to Transaid through a number of events and donations, which included a bidding of £13,000 as part of an auction for former MAN CEO Des Evans and RHA Chief Executive Richard Burrnett to work for a day in the company. They also managed to donate £3,000 from a round table discussion and bought a bicycle ambulance that went to the MAM project.
