Association of Consultancy and Engineering Stared Six New Agreements and Schedules of Services

The Association of Consultancy and Engineering has started six new agreements and schedules of services, in order to meet the changing legal requirements for modern day project processes. The new agreements have also been introduced to sort risk management collaboration as well as early warnings, clear and fair payment terms, the use of BIM and soft landings.

This new collection of ACE Agreements has been initiated after discussions with industry members and trying to create a balanced risk between all parties as well providing the agreements in a clear language to allow users with efficient and certainty when managing a project to completion.

These new agreements will be suitable for all UK jurisdictions as it has been created for all types of prospective clients. This includes contractors and end users as there are guidance notes for the manufactured product. There is also the allowance for supplement clauses as well as appropriate forms of warranty.

The new schedule of services replaces the England and Scotland editions of the previous agreements. The replacements include the ACE Professional Service Agreement 2017. This replaces the England and Scotland editions of the ACE agreement 1 and 3.

There is also the ACE Sub-Consultancy Agreement 2017; replacing the ACE Agreement 4.

The ACE Schedule of services Civil and Structural Engineering, Lead Consultant will be replaced by the ACE Schedule of Services Part G (d) and G(f).

The ACE Schedule of Services Part G(a) and (f) will replace the ACE Schedule of Services Civil and Structural Engineering, Single Consultant or Non-lead Consultant.

ACE Schedule of Services Part G (b), G(c) and G(e) will be replaced by ACE Schedule of services MEP Engineering, Lead Consultant.

Finally, the ACE Schedule of Services MEP Engineering, Single Consultant or non-lead consultant will replace the ACE Schedule of services Part G(b), G(c) and G(e).
