Products from family firm Andrews Tiles are now available across the country as they launch an online venture The Tilers Hub TheTilersHub.co.uk – and it offers next day delivery.
The company, which has been in business for 137 years originated from Leeds and has four showrooms across the country.
The Leeds-based business was founded as A Andrews & Sons in 1886 by Arthur Andrews. The company has been based at its Meanwood site since 1960 – before opening a further showroom in Glasgow.
This year has seen Andrews Tiles make a considerable expansion, after two new sites opened in Seacroft and Stockport in Greater Manchester.
The second Leeds-based site, in Seacroft, was opened by triathlete Jess Learnmouth MBE. Jess is famed for being part of the gold medal winning triathlon mixed relay team in the 2020 Olympics.
At the time of opening, the company accredited its expansion to having a huge increase in demand for its products and services in recent years.
Andrews Tiles has now ventured online and launched its new website TheTilersHub.co.uk. The decision to create the website came as the company is passionate about ensuring that their quality products are available across the country – not just to those local to their stores.
The website offers a huge selection of products including tile adhesive, grout, tile backer boards, levelling compound, tiling tools, tile spacers, tile trim, tile cutters and materials.
All orders placed online before 3pm are available for next day delivery, and customers even have the option of requesting pre-10.30am delivery on some products. Those who place orders over the value of £500 will qualify for free postage.
David Clough, Director at Andrews Tiles said: “When it comes to tiling, our website has everything you could need – all in one place at competitive prices.
“We specialise in making sure that you have the right product for the job. We have a huge selection of tile adhesive, grouts and silicones as well as all the preparation materials you need such as levelling compound, decoupling matts, tile spacers and underfloor heating.
“As well as materials, we also sell a full range of professional tiling tools. Whether it’s a tile cutter, diamond blades, or hand tools – we’ve got everything you need to get the perfect finish.”
Andrews Tiles has been involved in several iconic developments – including supplying and fitting 14 million mosaics to the CIS Tower in Manchester when it opened in 1962. More recently, the company was involved in providing and fitting the Terrazzo cladding on the Dorchester Hotel in 2022.
