The Rubix Motion, Control and Automation (MCA) division will be coming together for the first time to exhibit at Machine Building Live on 4th October 2023 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.
A core division of Rubix, Europe’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services, the MCA division consists of Matara, KJN and newcomer Gapp Automation that joined in April of this year.
Whilst the companies will have their own stands – Matara stand 46, KJN stand 37, and Gapp stand 70 – they will be easily recognisable as part of the Rubix MCA division thanks to their similar style and graphics and the presence of Rubix’ distinct branding.
Until now, Matara, KJN and Gapp Automation have mostly worked independently of each other, although Matara already had an established relationship with Gapp prior to them joining Rubix, selling its linear actuators with Gapp’s Delta drives and controls. Rubix MCA Division Managing Director, Bob Clark, comments on the decision to exhibit together: “Rubix UK’s Motion, Control & Automation business unit has recently been strengthened by the addition of Gapp Automation in April. Gapp extends the Group’s technical capabilities into electrical MCA solutions and the team will work alongside Matara and KJN Automation, our existing mechanically focussed MCA businesses. Our customers now have access to wider expertise and technical capabilities, as we are now able to provide a complete MCA solution.”
The three Rubix MCA division companies will be highlighting their key products and services at Machine Building Live this October.
Linear motion specialist Matara, on stand 46, will be displaying its best selling linear actuators, as well as other linear motion products including linear rail and ballscrews. Working from its Gloucestershire premises, home to a fully equipped machine shop, Matara designs and builds an array of quality belt and ballscrew units. To emphasise the growing relationship with the other companies in the MCA division, Matara will also feature Gapp’s range of Delta drives and controls, and KJN’s aluminium profile on its stand.
On stand 37, KJN will be focussing on its expertise in extruded aluminium profile, accessories and associated products. With an extensive range and engineering expertise, KJN is highly versatile, providing aluminium profile cut to required mm length, supplied as flat packed kit or through to a fully assembled solution.
Gapp Automation is a leading supplier of automation and drives solutions. On its stand 70, Gapp will be showcasing some of its best selling and innovative products, including Delta B3 Servos, Delta M300 Frequency Inverter, Concens iCon Linear Actuator with Integrated Controller, Tramec GHA Hygienic Worm Gearbox, and IO Link Products. Gapp products include standard parts but also customised solutions to suit the needs of specific application requirements.
