Well-respected laser cutting system specialist, Lisa Cooper, has joined Ficep UK as business development engineer in a move that will see her switch from aftercare to sales.
Lisa Cooper gained 30 years of experience working in machine aftersales at Bystronic, primarily supporting customers with laser cutting, press brakes, tube laser cutting and plate storage systems. Lisa’s appointment coincides with Ficep UK’s recent introduction of the Cutlite Penta Plus 30kw laser system, an asset which Lisa will further support the growth of in the UK market.
Lisa Cooper says: “My previous role was developing trust and supporting businesses post-sale and installation. Becoming business development engineer is a new challenge for me, yet I am looking forward to drawing on my knowledge of systems and the market to add value to the process. It’s an exciting time to be joining Ficep UK as the company continues to innovate and explore new systems such as the new Cutlite Penta Plus laser. It is an impressive addition to Ficep’s portfolio as it’s a high-quality system which sits in a value stream.”
Chris Berriman, Ficep UK sales director says: “Lisa is very well known in the industry and her knowledge of laser systems is unrivalled in the marketplace – what she doesn’t know about laser systems is simply not worth knowing. People buy from people and building relationships and trust amongst connections will be a key part of Lisa’s role.
“We are thrilled that she has chosen to move to Ficep UK and we know that, with her experience, connections and her desire to make a difference, Lisa will help take us to the next level of growth in the UK.”
