New Sales General Manager for Parker Hannifin in Central and Eastern Europe

Parker Hannifin Sales Company Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has announced the appointment of Vladimír Tichý as Sales General Manager. He succeeds Serpil Uzun, who retired recently after almost two decades of dedicated service at the company.

Mr. Tichý, a 48-year-old Czech national, joins Parker from Schneider Electric, where he held various sales and management roles over the past twenty-two years – most recently as Country General Manager for the Czech Republic. Prior to this, he spent seven years in the UK, initially as Final Installation Business Director in London and then as Managing Director Ireland in Dublin. He is a graduate of the Brno University of Technology.

“We are delighted to welcome Vladimír to the Parker team. He comes with a wealth of experience and a strong track record of successfully leading sales teams. I am confident that under his leadership we will continue to grow our business in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Anders Hagberg, VP for Parker’s Sales Companies EMEA North-East Region & Strategic Accounts.

“It is an honor to lead Parker’s top-notch Central & Eastern European sales teams, that are already delivering impressive results. And I know that together, we can succeed in achieving even more, as we continue to provide our customers with a range of solutions in key fields, including electrification and hydrogen,” said Vladimír Tichý.

A global leader in motion and control technologies, Parker has been operating in the CEE region since 1991. Its offices and manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Turkey serve customers in more than 30 markets. With annual sales of $15.9 billion globally, the company provides innovative product solutions that help engineers working in multiple industries.
