Takumi are pleased to announce the appointment of Phil McKinley to its advisory board, who will join current board members John Moran and Gene Leonard.

Phil resides in Yeovil in SW England, and brings a wealth of experience from US and UK based Aerospace industry having worked in senior positions in companies such as GKN Aerospace and Magellan Aerospace.
“We are confident that the direction and advice afforded by board members will be of tremendous assistance in ensuring that Takumi delivers on its` growth strategy,” commented on the appointment, CEO of Takumi, Donal Galligan.
Phil recently visited Takumi and spent some time getting to know the senior management team and developing an appreciation for the business strategy.
“I look forward to assisting the Takumi Team, in particular complimenting the business` growth plans for both organic & new customer opportunities,” said Mr McKinley.
Takumi commenced trading in 1998 and currently employs 100 people at its premises in Raheen Business Park. The number of employees now exceeds pre-Covid numbers. In initial years the company provided precision machined components to local multinationals though in recent times over 60% of Takumi revenues are to overseas customers.
The company supplies highly regulated industries such as medical device, aerospace, semiconductor and pharmaceutical. Management plan to double revenues to €20 million and add 60 new jobs in the next four years.
